Woven Love
This my card for yesterday's challenge to use scraps. I tried to upload it a couple times yesterday but the gallery kept experiencing technical difficulties so I decided to wait until today to try again... The challenge was to use scraps that we had lying around our desk (or floor for some of us) from projects that we made earlier in the week. I had the pink cardstock still on my floor (neatly in a pile to put away) so I chose to use that. I cut the scraps into 1/2" strips and weaved them together. I then cut them out with my nestabilities to create my frame. I wanted to leave this card pretty simple so that my woven frame was the featured item. I am actually hoping that this can get into one of the challenges upcoming... I love the look of this background and I will definitely be using more of my scraps to create this look again... At a mere 1/2" strip it seems there is no need to throw away even the smallest of scraps anymore... :) (Not that I really threw them out before!)

God Bless Pink
Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge. It took me a while to think of what I wanted to do with this one... I started browsing through my many DSP books and found these awesome papers so I went with it.. I am pretty happy with how this card turned out... I especially love the ribbon.. It's my new toy and had so much fun dying it to match my cardstock... :) I may try to post a tutorial on how to dye this ribbon so please stop back so you can have a ribbon in your stash to match every color you need too... :)
Happy Stamping!!!

Color Challenge Times 2
This is my first card for today's Color Challenge over at splitcoast stapers... The colors to use were Island Indigo, Pool Party, and Whisper White... I absolutely think this color combo is stunning and elegant... On this card I used the beaded circles, foliage, and spiral blossom 1 dies from spellbinders. I used the iRock to add my rhinestones (which I ABSOLUTELY love)and my card was born... This card look so elegant yet it was so simple a design and concept. I am truly happy with how this card turned out.. This is my second card to today's color challenge... This is another really simple card. I used my beaded oval, classic oval, and foliage spellbinders dies here and I once again used my iRock to add the gems and rhinestones.. This is another really simple card but I think it turned out great... Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please don't be shy, let me know you were here and what you think..
Happy Stamping!!!

Pierced Friends
Here is my card for Wendy's "piercin it" challenge on splitcoast. You will be hard pressed to find any cards in my gallery that have piercing on them... I am not very good at it and I never think to do it... I am happy with how this card turned out but I quickly found out that my piercing tool is bent and I had to use a safety pin. I have no templates except the old stampin up tool kit template... The entire time I was making this card I was thinking about a good friend of mine whose favorite color is Baja Breeze... This ones for you Kelly... :) Please let me know what you think of my card today.. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look... :)
