Count My Blessings

It's been quite some time since I sat down and thought about the colors of fall and I have to say... I'm NOT ready...  I want the summer to last so much longer... For us in Washington State, the fall means 8 months of rain and quite honestly I can do without...  Nonetheless, here is my card for today's Autumn Leaves challenge....

The scallop rows are made with Sparkle N Sprinkle glitters and Super Adhesive Sheets.  I picked 3 fall colors and ran with it...  The leaf colored were inspired by the glitter colors...  Both stamp sets used are also from Sparkle N Sprinkle and I just love these leaves...  I hope you enjoy my card today and I would love to know what you think..

May SNS Blog Hop - On The Beach

So without further adieus, here is the card I chose to share with you for this blog hop...

 

For this card, I started with a simple medium blue cardstock base making my card A2 size.  I used I cut slits in a 5 1/4 X 4 sheet  of Super Adhesive Sheets and removed the individual backing pieces 1 by 1 adding each glitter color individually making the graduated effect from sand to water, to sky and sun....  The rest of the card is really simply put together.  I stamped the lawn (beach) chair and colored it with copic markers, I cut my nestie frame and tied a couple ribbons to the edge and then I attached everything to my glittered background...

This is my card for this month's sketch challenge over at Sparkle N Sprinkle... I really hope that you will all be inspired to play along with us this month. The sketch is fabulous and leaves for so many awesome ideas...

Negative Glittered Ornaments

I wish I had gotten a chance to get my card finished and uploaded this morning but I was pretty slow moving this morning and didn't get done nearly as much as I had hoped... So I am finally uploading this now and I hope that you will all enjoy my "late" entry... At least late for me...

I punched out my ornaments through both top sheets of cardstock and then cut out the same ornaments with super adhesive sheets( can be purchased from Sparkle N Sprinkle) I glittered my ornaments using the glitter masking technique so when my card closes you can see the glittered ornaments... I really like how this turned out and am really happy with the look of the multi colored glitter... I hope you like it too... Please let me know what you think... Happy Stamping!!!
