Thumped Flowers
I did this Wednesday night when the challenge was posted and had planned to upload it yesterday morning. I ended up talking on the phone with my mom for 2 hours and then went to my MIL's house to help her can 100 pounds of tomatoes and I never did find the time to upload it... So a day late and a dollar short, here is my card for yesterday's challenge.. :) The background is created by taking your image and inking it. This technique will work with any stamps but the solid images show the detail a lot more. Once you ink up your stamp, then take your coordinating marker and gently tap it down on your inked image in random places where you want that second color to show. When doing this technique, I recommend using the side of your brush and not the tip so you don't ruin your marker. Now that you know how simple it is to create this gorgeous look, why don't you go and give it a try... Your markers are useful for so much more...
Happy Stamping!!!

Fun technique - I forget about doing this! What a difference on a large background image. Love the blingy center image too
Love the color combo & the sparkling main image! Looks great!
Great use of the technique. Lovely card.
